When you become a best-selling author soon, what genre of literature will you be successful writing? Why? Who would be your target audience? What do find interesting, intriguing, special, appealing about this genre? Explain what you're going to write and who you're hoping enjoys it and "why."
If I was to become a best-selling author, I would write books about music. I know music is a broad topic, but I feel like I would write fictional stories that have some sort of musical aspect. Almost like a musical but a book. I would market my books to teenagers since the main characters in my books would probably be teenagers. I would write about high school and how music could potentially help a character through a hardship or struggle. I really like realistic fiction. They are stories of things that could potentially happen. I love reading these kinds of books and comparing myself to the characters to find which one I relate to the most. I hope high school students would enjoy these books.

I have always been a daydreamer. I was and am the kid in class who would be staring off to space creating my own delusion of the world around me. However, as this may have gotten me in a few predicaments, I have formed quite the imagination. This is one of the many reasons that I, if I had the chance to become a writer, would choose fiction. Something about having free rein and complete control over where the story goes seems awfully appealing. Most likely my books would be targeted for teenagers or young adults, the audience most likely to appreciate the content I would provide. Some of that content would be mystery novels, speculative fiction, and maybe a few romance stories. I fully believe that reading can take you anywhere you want to go. To quote Dr. Suess, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." If I was able to become an author this would be my main motivation, to create a relatable "world" for my readers that they can become lost in.
ReplyDeleteWhen I become a best-selling author, the genre that I believe I will be most successful at is science fiction. This would be the genre I am the best writing because no one knows what is going to happen in the future. When I write my sci-fi stories, I can create whatever setting, plot, and conflict I want because there is no one set way to write science fiction. I can be as creative as I want when writing in this genre. I find the wide variety of stories in this genre to be the most intriguing to me. Because there are no set boundaries for science fiction, authors have the freedom to expand their creativity and create a whole new world. My target audience will be for young-adults and students who love to read fiction. I hope people of this age enjoy reading my stories because it was at this age that I found an interest in reading, especially in fiction. In my writing, I aspire to be as creative as possible and write about something that no one has written about before. I also want to have a purpose or lesson included in each story that has a deeper meaning and makes people think.
ReplyDeleteWhen I become a best-selling author, my main genre will be adventure fiction. I enjoy reading books under this genre and I’m creative enough to create the stories for fiction books. My target audience would be young adults, thirteen to eighteen years old. I enjoy this type of genre because it takes the reader on a journey. Fiction in general is the best genre because there are no limits. Anything can happen in fiction books, and there are no set standards for what an author writes about. Adventure is in a similar category. Adventures are exciting and wild journeys that can involve some of the oddest characters that still find a way to work together in order to accomplish their set task. I’m going to write an action fantasy novel focusing on the importance of family, responsibility, good, evil, and fate. I would hope any reader enjoys it, but the target audience is for high schoolers as the main characters would be young adults.

If I was going to be a successful author in the new future I feel that I would be good at writing somewhere in the horror, suspense, or mystery genre. I think that I would be good at writing these kinds of books because these are my favorite type of books to read. I've always liked the thrill that the horror or mystery books have given me. They leave me wanting to know what happens next and then I have to read more to find out. This genre had always been my favorite and for some reason I can't get hooked on any other type of book. Another reason I would be good at writing these types of books is that I am a young adult, so I would know what the young adult population likes or looks for a books. My ideal audience would be teenage kids or young adults. I think that this age of people would get the most out of what I write and would even maybe understand it better than the younger children would. I think that kids these days would much rather read a good fiction or horror story then read about a non-fiction topic. If i had to become a writer in the future I really hoped that the readers got out of the book what I put in.
ReplyDeleteWhen I become a best-selling author, I will be writing young adult fiction. I will be writing that because I have a free range of fantasy and realistic fiction. I can intertwine reality with fantasy and make something enjoyable for many readers. My target audience would be teenagers that need a book to read and enjoy. I find this genre appealing and interesting because you can make it how you want and influence teens. If what they read has any impact on them, I would hope that impact would be for better decision making and overall that the book is a good influence on them. You would be able to make the realities of day to day life be on a back burner while they can enjoy an interesting and appealing book. Out of anything I would want the reader to enjoy the book and want to read it again and again, hopefully recommending it to their peers.

When I become a best-selling author, the genre I will be successful in writing is mystery. I would write this because not only is it what I am interested in, but I would be able to keep people interested in it. My target audience would range between pre-teens to teenagers. I find mystery very interesting. I love how it keeps you on your toes. I also enjoy that it keeps you intrigued. The way it compels you to read more is just memorizing. I'm going to write something that is intriguing, mysterious, and that overwhelms you to read more. I hope many people enjoy it, this includes friends, family, strangers, and more. I would want these people to enjoy it to help them with a bad day, let them escape reality, and help them increase their reading skills. All in all, when I do become a best-selling author, I hope my book has many attributes that will astonish the reader.

When I soon become a best-selling author, the genre would be an autobiography. Because that is my favorite type to read. The target audience would be just about everyone. Everyone would enjoy reading about my life. I like this genre because when you read about some other person’s life you can learn from what they did. You can look at what they did then was good for them, also then you will know somethings to not do. I am going to write an autobiography about my life, I hope everyone who reads it will enjoy it, Also I hope they can learn a thing or two from reading it. I believe that the people who read it will enjoy it a lot because the things I talk about will hopefully be interesting.

If I were a best-selling other the genre, I would write would most likely be mystery. Because it is the genre I like to read, and I think that mystery is one of the more popular genres that people like to read for fun. My book would be teenagers. Because a lot of teenagers look for books that keep them on the edge of their seat and they want the book to make them want to keep reading. What I find appealing about this genre is how you can try to solve the mystery on your own. Also, how usually mystery books little clues in that you must really read closely to find them. Then they will make you think that it’s one character but then at the end it might be a whole different character at the end. I would write scary haunted mystery books hoping that high schoolers would read it. Because they are all around my age and I know what most of them would be interested in.

If I were to become a best-selling author soon the genre, I would choose is real life issues. I would be very successful writing about real life issues because I've been through a lot in my life. I have a place in my heart for certain things people have gone through and I feel bad for them. I want others to understand that it's hard to go through things and that there are issues in our world that need to be fixed. My target audience might be people who haven't been exposed to the issues people who need to realize we have a problem that needs to be fixed. I find it interesting because I like to know what it's like to walk in someone's else's shoes because don’t know what it's like to be them and I don’t know what they're going through. I'm going to write a book about what it's like to be poor and not have everything everyone else does. I hope kids who can relate enjoy it and I hope kids who are spoiled and are hid under a rock by their parents from the world learn that not to bully kids that don’t have everything.
ReplyDeleteWhen I become a successful author, I will be writing fiction books. I would write fiction books because I want to make the characters like animals able to talk. My audience would most likely be kids through teenagers because adults probably would think it’s lame to read a book with a whole bunch of animals talking to each other, but some may like them. I think fiction is interesting or appealing because you can make anything happen that wouldn’t happen in real like or that could happen but hasn’t yet. I’m going to write a book about horses that can talk to each other. I hope little cowgirls and cowboys enjoy them because I wish there were more horse books when I was little, now I’m too old to read them because my level is higher.
